A unique, delicious, and extremely easy-to-make dessert, which can be ready in less than 30mins. You could personalize the choice of dry fruits, replace sugar with dates, and adjust ghee also according to your taste.
Cut bread slices into small pieces. Heat ghee in a nonstick pan and fry the sides of bread.
Add ghee, after ½ (half) minute add dry fruits and stir it well till they change the color (light pink).
Add sugar and milk and mix well and bring it to boil. Now to this boiling milk add fried breads. Stir and mix everything very well. Simmer on a low to medium-low flame. The bread cubes will absorb milk and start thickening.
Now this time add khoya and cardamom powder and gently mix everything. At this stage you can see bread halwa begins to release ghee.
Turn off the gas and take it out in serving bowl.
Serve delicious bread ka halwa.
