<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Ingredients</h2>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Clarified butter (Ghee) &#8211; 4 tablespoons</li>



<li>Coconut (grated) &#8211; 1 cup</li>



<li>Almond (chopped) &#8211; 1 cup</li>



<li>Cashew nut (chopped) &#8211; 1 cup</li>



<li>Kishmish (chopped) &#8211; 1 cup</li>



<li>Walnuts (chopped) &#8211; 1 cup</li>



<li>Raisins (chopped) &#8211; 1 cup</li>



<li>Pistachio (chopped) &#8211; 3 tablespoons </li>



<li>Pumpkin seeds &#8211; 3 tablespoons</li>



<li>Sunflower seeds &#8211; 3 tablespoons</li>



<li>Edible gum (Gond) &#8211; 3 tablespoons</li>



<li>Poppy seeds &#8211; 2 tablespoons</li>



<li>Figs (Anjeer, chopped) &#8211; 6</li>



<li>Dates paste &#8211; 400 grams</li>



<li>Cardamom powder &#8211; 1/2 teaspoon </li>
</ul>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Method</h2>



<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Firstly, heat a pan on medium heat and dry roast the grated coconut until it turns slightly brown. Set it aside.</li>



<li>Next, add 2 tablespoons of ghee to the pan and wait until it gets medium hot. Then, add a small amount of gond and cook on low flame. Keep stirring to ensure it puffs well from the inside; otherwise, the inside won&#8217;t be roasted properly. A broad pan works best for this. Once done, drain and repeat with the remaining gond. Set aside.</li>



<li>After that, add almonds, cashews, pistachios, and walnuts to the pan and roast them on a low flame. Set these aside as well. Following this, add 1/2 tablespoon of ghee to the pan and then add sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, kishmish, figs, and poppy seeds. Roast them for 2-3 minutes before setting them aside.</li>



<li>Then, add 1 and 1/2 tablespoons more ghee and heat it up. Add the dates paste, mix it well, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Now, add all the roasted dry fruits and cardamom powder. Mix everything well until all the ingredients are well incorporated.</li>



<li>Allow the mixture to cool slightly. Meanwhile, grease your palms with a little ghee. Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a round laddoo. Repeat this process with the remaining mixture.</li>



<li>Finally, serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to a week.</li>

<li>All purpose flour (maida) &#8211; 180 gram (1 &amp; ½ cups)</li>



<li>Baking powder &#8211; 1 teaspoon</li>



<li>Baking soda &#8211;  ½ teaspoon</li>



<li>Yogurt &#8211; 1 cup</li>



<li>Castor sugar &#8211; 150 gram (¾ cup)</li>



<li>Vegetable 0il &#8211; 120ml (½ cup)</li>



<li>Vanilla Extract &#8211; 1 teaspoon</li>
</ul>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Method</strong></h3>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How to make a vanilla cake?</strong></h4>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Start by preparing the parchment paper</strong></h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Place your round cake tin (6 inches pan) on top of a sheet of parchment paper and use the pencil to draw around it. Cut out the shape and set aside.</li>



<li>Now grease a round cake tin with little oil. Next, add a spoonful of flour to the inside of the cake tin. Tap the tin and move the flour around the interior surface. Tapping out any excess flour (Make sure to turn the tin upside down to get rid of any excess flour).</li>



<li>Now take your circle of parchment paper and pop it into the bottom of the cake tin.</li>
</ul>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong><strong>Mixing Dry Ingredients</strong></strong></h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Preheat your oven to 180°C for 10 minutes.</li>



<li>In a mixing bowl, sift together all purpose flour and baking powder. Set aside.</li>
</ul>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Preparing the Batter</strong></h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>In a separate bowl, whisk together the yogurt and baking soda and set it aside to foam up. </li>



<li>Now combine castor sugar, oil and vanilla extract. in a separate bowl, whisking until the mixture is pale and well combined, pour the yogurt mixture to the oil and sugar mixture and mix well.</li>
</ul>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Baking the Cake</strong></h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and gently fold . Do not over mix at this stage.</li>



<li>Bake at 180C for 30-35 minutes or only until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.</li>



<li>Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. </li>
</ul>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Serving the Cake</strong></h4>

<li>Once cooled, you can frost or decorate the cake as desired.</li>

<li>Puffed Rice (Murmura/ Mudhi) – 4 cups</li>



<li>Jaggery – 1/2 cup</li>



<li>Water – 3 tablespoons</li>
</ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Method</strong></p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Heat a kadai over medium heat, add the jaggery and water. Stir continuously until the jaggery melts and forms a syrup. Once the jaggery syrup reaches the desired consistency, add the puffed rice (Murmura/ Mudhi) mix everything well to combine.</li>



<li>Turn off the flame and mix the puffed rice (Murmura/ Mudhi) quickly into the jaggery. Allow the mixture to cool slightly. Do not over cool it, otherwise will be difficult to roll laddoo. Wet your palms slightly with water to prevent sticking, and start shaping the mixture into round laddoos. Continue making laddoo with the rest of the mixture.</li>



<li>Your homemade Murmura Laddoos are ready! Store them in an airtight container and savor these nutritious snacks.</li>

<li>All purpose flour (Maida) &#8211; 1/2 Cups </li>



<li>Clarified Butter (Ghee) as required for slurry</li>
</ul>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Sugar Syrup</strong></h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>White Sugar &#8211; 2 cups</li>



<li>Water &#8211; 2 Cups</li>



<li>Cardamom Powder &#8211; 1/2 teaspoon</li>



<li>Lemon Juice &#8211; 1/2 teaspoon</li>
</ul>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Instructions</strong></h3>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Dough</strong></h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>In a big bowl add flour and ghee, mix it well until gets like a breadcrumb texture then add some water and mix well (Don’t add all the water at once. If you add all the water at once then the flour will become too sticky to handle).</li>
</ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Knead the dough soft and keep for 5 minutes. Knead again. Turn the dough onto your work surface, press the heels of your hands into the dough, pushing forward slightly, then fold the dough in half and rock forward on the heels of your hands to press it flat. Repeat this process for 10 minutes</li>
</ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Divide the dough into equal portions and make each portion&nbsp;into lemon size dough balls. Cover the dough with wet muslin cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.</li>
</ul>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Slurry</strong></h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Meanwhile, take a small bowl add all purpose flour and ghee and mix it well. Keep aside.</li>
</ul>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Syrup</strong></h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>In a saucepan, combine sugar, cardamom powder, water, and lemon juice. Place the saucepan over medium heat, stir constantly until the sugar dissolves.</li>



<li>Once the sugar is completely dissolved, let the mixture gently boil for a few minutes. Keep stirring to make sure the sugar is fully dissolved. As it cooks, you&#8217;ll see froth forming on top; remove it with a ladle.</li>



<li>Lower the heat, add cardamom powder, and stir gently. Take a small amount of syrup between your index finger and thumb. When you separate them, you should see a string of syrup forming. If you get one string, it means you have achieved the right consistency for one-string sugar syrup. Turn off the heat and set it aside.</li>
</ul>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Making the dough into Feni</strong></h3>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Start with a ball of dough.Flatten the dough into a thin, elongated shape, like a rectangle or an oval sheet.Spread the slurry evenly over this sheet.Cut the sheet into strips using a knife or a pastry wheel cutter.Place one strip on top of another and gently roll them together.</li>
</ul>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Frying the Feni</strong></h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Heat ghee in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Ensure the oil is hot but not smoking. Then fry the rolled out feni on low heat to make crispy. Be careful not to overcrowd the pan; fry in batches if necessary. Fry till golden brown on low flame.</li>
</ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Remove the fried pheni with a spoon and immerse them in the prepared sugar syrup. Let them soak for a few minutes so they absorb the syrup&#8217;s flavors, now bring out the feni.</li>
</ul>

<li>Warm milk – 1/3 cup</li>



<li>Vanilla essence – 1 teaspoons</li>



<li>Chopped walnuts – 2 tablespoons</li>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How to make a cake with wheat flour?</strong></h3>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Preparing the Batter</strong></h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Preheat your oven to 180°C. Line a muffin tray with cupcake liners or grease it lightly with cooking spray.</li>
</ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>In a separate bowl, whisk together the curd and baking soda until well combined. Add jaggery powder and mix well making sure jaggery dissolves completely.</li>
</ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Now add oil and vanilla essence and mix well until batter smooth.</li>
</ul>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Mixing Dry Ingredients</strong></h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>In a mixing bowl, sift together whole wheat flour (Atta) and baking powder. Set aside.</li>
</ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Take chopped walnuts in a bowl. Add a spoonful of the sifted flour and mix well and set aside.</li>
</ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients while gently folding the mixture. Now add warm milk &amp; half chopped walnut mixtures and mix well together but be careful not to overmix the batter.</li>
</ul>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Baking the Cake</strong></h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Using a spoon or an ice cream scoop, fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with the batter. This will allow room for the cupcakes to rise and create a perfect dome top.</li>
</ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Place the muffin tray in the preheated oven and bake for bake for 20 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.</li>
</ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Once baked, remove the cupcake from the oven and let it cool in the tray for 20 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.</li>

<li>Curd &#8211; 2 cups (at room temperature)</li>



<li>jaggery powder &#8211; 1 &amp; 1/2 cups</li>



<li>Baking powder &#8211; 2teaspoons</li>



<li>Baking soda &#8211; 1 teaspoon</li>



<li>White oil &#8211; 1 cup</li>



<li>Warm milk &#8211; 1/2 cup</li>



<li>Vanilla essence &#8211; 2 teaspoons </li>



<li>Chopped walnuts &#8211; 4 tablespoons</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Step 1: Start by preparing the parchment paper</strong></p>

<li>Place your round cake tin (6 inches pan) on top of a sheet of parchment paper and use the pencil to draw around it. Cut out the shape and set aside.</li>



<li>Now grease a round cake tin with little oil. Next, add a spoonful of flour to the inside of the cake tin. Tap the tin and move the flour around the interior surface. Tapping out any excess flour (Make sure to turn the tin upside down to get rid of any excess flour).</li>



<li>Now take your circle of parchment paper and pop it into the bottom of the cake tin.</li>
</ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>How to make a cake with wheat flour?</strong></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Step 2: Preparing the Batter</strong></p>

<li>Preheat your oven to 180°C for 20 minutes. </li>



<li>In a separate bowl, whisk together the curd and baking soda until well combined. Add jaggery powder and mix well making sure jaggery dissolves completely.</li>



<li>Now add oil and vanilla essence and mix well until batter smooth.</li>
</ul>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Step 3: Mixing Dry Ingredients</strong></p>

<li>In a mixing bowl, sift together whole wheat flour (Atta) and baking powder. Set aside.</li>



<li>Take chopped walnuts in a bowl. Add a spoonful of the sifted flour and mix well and set aside.</li>



<li>Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients while gently folding the mixture. Now add warm milk &amp; half chopped walnut mixtures and mix well together but be careful not to overmix the batter.</li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Step 4: Baking the Cake</strong></p>

<li>Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the chopped walnut mixtures on cake batter. Gently tap the pan. Bake for 50 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.</li>



<li>Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 20 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.</li>
</ul>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So heres the <strong>step by step recipe for bread ka halwa</strong>. People also call it <strong>Bread ka Sheera</strong>. Bread ka Halwa is dish is also incredibly famous in Indian Hyderabadi cuisine. This halwa can be made either in white or brown bread depending on your taste or your choice.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You could call it bread pudding, but a true European bread pudding would mean sweet sauces rather than the Ghee we Indians use.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It is unique extremely easy-to-make takes about 30min and I treat this as a fix to my sweet cravings.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You could adjust the sweetness with sugar or experiment with other dry fruits to give it a taste that is uniquely yours.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Ingredients</strong> for Bread ka Halwa</h3>

Now to this boiling milk add fried breads. Stir and mix everything very well. Simmer on a low to medium-low flame. The bread cubes will absorb milk and start thickening.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-3687-step-0-3" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Now this time add khoya and cardamom powder and gently mix everything. <p>This one is a very easy <strong>recipe of Lauki ka Halwa. </strong>Get the health benefits of lauki, with aroma of cardamoms and ghee and amazing sweetness. This is a perfect fit for evening prasad (naivedyam) after a pooja.</p>
<h2><strong>Ingredients </strong></h2>

<li>Lauki (Bottle Gourd) – 1 cup</li>
<li>Milk – 1 cup</li>
<li>Khoya – 100 gms</li>
<li>Ghee (clarified butter) – 2 tablespoons</li>
<li>Sugar – 1 cup or as per your taste</li>
<li>Mixed Dry Fruits &#8211; 1 tablespoon</li>
<li>Green cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp</li>

<p>1 &#8211; Peel off the outer skin and finely grate the lauki (bottle gourd). Squeeze out excess water from shredded bottle gourd.</p>

<p>2 &#8211; Heat a deep pan on medium flame. Add ghee, after ½ (half) minute add dry fruits and stir it well till they change the color (light pink). Remove and keep aside.</p>

<p>4 &#8211; Add milk and stir well. Cover with lid and let it cook on medium flame. After 5 minutes add khoya and dry fruits and mix well. Simmer the heat and cook till all the milk has reduced. Add sugar and cardamom powder and stirring all the while till the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickness, about 5-7 minutes.</p>
