Nariyal Laddoo (Coconut Laddoo) are specially prepared during festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, Rakshabandhan etc. These are an important part of festivals, and are easy to make.
- Coconut (Nariyal) – 3 cup
- Sugar – 2 cup
- Milk – 2/4 cup or as required
- Green cardamom powder – 1 tsp
- Saffron – a pinch
- Clarified butter – 1 tbsp
In a big size bowl add coconut, sugar and milk and mix well.
Heat clarified butter a thick pan, transfer coconut mixture into pan and stir well and cook 3 to 4 minute on high heat.
Add cardamom powder and saffron. Stir continuously on medium heat till the mixture become little dry.

Pour the mixture on the plate and let it cool a little.
Grease your palm with a little clarified butter, take a little of the mixture into your palm and shape into round ball.
Repeat the process with the remaining mixture.
Cool and serve.
